Most CRM problems aren't CRM problems. They're a data handoff problem dressed up as a software problem.

Market Logic Network just expanded their revenue operations offering — pulling CRM, service, automation, and reporting into what they're calling one connected growth system. The pitch is a single view of the customer across every team that touches revenue.

That's the right idea. The part they don't say out loud: most platforms have been promising that "single view" for a decade, and most ops leaders are still exporting CSVs to reconcile what sales thinks happened versus what service actually dealt with.

If you're mid-market, the gap isn't usually the software's feature list. It's that your sales process, your service workflow, and your reporting logic don't map cleanly onto whatever the vendor built for their average customer. So the "connected" system connects things — just not your things.

The teams that actually get a clean customer view aren't the ones who found the right platform. They're the ones who stopped accepting a system built for someone else's business and built one around how their own teams hand off work.

Another connected platform won't fix a process that the platform wasn't built to understand.
