Most CRM "rapid" launches just mean someone packaged the same rigid system with a prettier onboarding checklist.

Forceworks, a Microsoft Cloud partner, recently launched RapidStart — a CRM built on Microsoft Dynamics and wired into the tools many mid-market teams already run: Office 365, SharePoint, and Azure. The pitch is faster deployment out of the gate, using pre-configured templates instead of building from a blank slate.

Here's what that actually means for you. If your team already lives in Outlook and SharePoint, a CRM that doesn't fight those tools is genuinely worth noticing. Most of your current workarounds probably exist because your CRM treats email and documents as afterthoughts. A tighter native connection reduces the manual bridging your ops team quietly does every single day.

The honest catch: pre-configured templates get you moving faster, but they're still someone else's assumptions about how your business works. If your sales process, pipeline stages, or customer data don't match those defaults, you're back to the familiar place — waiting on a consultant to bend it into shape or living with the compromise.

Speed of deployment only matters if what gets deployed actually fits. Getting into a new system fast is not the same as getting into the right system.
