Salesforce just had a rough earnings cycle — and Wall Street noticed.
While Snowflake rallied on a major Amazon deal and Marvell beat expectations, Salesforce (the company that built the CRM everyone defaults to) came in soft. The stock struggled. Analysts started asking uncomfortable questions about growth and whether the AI story is actually converting into revenue.
That's a business problem, not just a stock ticker problem.
When the platform you've bet your operations on is under pressure to justify its AI spend and grow through upsells, the product decisions stop being about what helps you and start being about what helps their numbers. You've probably already felt this — features that don't fit your workflow, pricing tiers that force you to pay for things you don't need, and a roadmap you have zero input on.
