Dynamic pricing gets all the headlines — and most of the backlash. But that's not the part your CRM should be focused on anyway.

The real conversation happening in CRM circles right now is about dynamic capabilities more broadly. Not just what you charge, but how your system responds in real time to what your customers actually do. Behavior-triggered follow-ups. Service tiers that adjust based on account activity. Outreach that shifts based on where a deal is stalling — not where your playbook assumed it would be.

That's the gap most mid-market ops leaders are sitting in right now. Your CRM captured the data. It just can't do anything intelligent with it without a consultant building a custom workflow or a developer patching something together over two sprints. So the insight sits there, and you keep doing things manually.

If you've been burned before — by a platform that promised "automation" and delivered a checkbox — I get the skepticism. But the difference between a CRM that reacts to your business and one that just stores records isn't a feature upgrade. It's a fundamentally different way the system is built.

The companies pulling ahead aren't the ones with more data. They're the ones whose systems actually do something with it when it matters.
